The Georgia House Democratic Caucus is a vibrant, diverse group of leaders who reflect the people they represent more each election. This year, we welcomed the first Latina and first openly gay man (and first Asian American Democrat) to the legislature. We continued to pick up seats across the state – this cycle in metro Atlanta and South Georgia – and helped Democrats flip Gwinnett and Cobb counties. Our work matters because all Georgians, whether they live in a city, suburb, or rural community, share the fundamental goals of economic security, educational opportunity, and shared responsibility for all.

FOUR CONCRETE ACTS OF RESISTANCE
DELIVERED TO YOUR INBOX EACH WEEK
For too long, Georgia’s conservative supermajority has been the mouthpiece of corporations, the ultra-rich and the radical Right. They push legislation intended to strip rights away from gays and lesbians, disenfranchise minority voters and hurt Georgia families. They slash Georgia’s education budget, do nothing as our infrastructure crumbles and block common-sense health care policies.
That’s why we created Better Georgia. We know there’s a need to provide a voice for Georgians who don’t have lobbyists at the Gold Dome.
our mission is to turn America blue by building a movement to flip seats.<
We focus on state races, which play a huge role in national elections but are often overlooked. Information about these races is hard to find, and busy people don’t have the time to sift through it.
That’s where we come in. We’ll tell you which races are most important, who’s running, and how you can support them.
